We are situated 18 kilometres east of Invercargill, adjacent
to, but away from State Highway 1.

There are currently four classrooms operating at Woodlands:
- Senior Room - years 6-8
- Middle Room - years 4-5
- Junior Room - years 2-3
- New Entrant Room - years 0-1
There are approximately 80 children on the school roll spread evenly throughout the age groups.
We endeavour to maintain a high teacher / pupil ratio in the new entrant room particularly.
